The Dollar Store Gallery was created from ordinary objects all purchased for under a dollar each. The book was created for the occasion of the gallery, which presented the items. The intention of the book, and gallery, was to take inexpensive objects of no relation to each other and from a new cohesive and interesting collection, thus adding value to the objects.
